networking opportunities

Want to meet or keep in touch with the other participants? Download the registration list here!

Throughout today and up until December 4th, take some time to make a connection with someone from the Student Affairs conference, and be entered to win a chance for one of three $25 Amazon gift cards.

  • Think about why you want to network.  Maybe you want to get to know someone who has a similar job as you at another school, so you can share ideas?  Maybe you are interested in moving into a different role someday, and you’re curious about someone’s experience? Or maybe someone presented on a topic and you want to know more.

  • Use the attached attendee contact list to email someone with whom you’d like to connect.  Explain why you’re interested in meeting, and be sure to say that you understand if someone doesn’t have time to do so.

  • After you’ve made the connection and had your meeting, email Melanie Cassidy from the hospitality committee at Melanie.cassidy@wustl.edu to share the name of the person with whom you met and what you gained from the time together.

  • The deadline to be included in the raffle is two weeks from the conference date, Friday December 4th.

  • Both you and your networking partner can enter into the drawing, but you must email individually.

  • Winners will be notified through email from Rebecca Jones of the hospitality committee, through Amazon.
